Importance of Membership

Cycling UK want people of all ages and and abilities to be able to cycle safely and enjoyably. They champion the cause of cycling and promote all forms of cycling such as, protecting the interests of cyclists and inspiring everyone to discover the joys of cycling.

With over 130 years’ experience, the independent Charity are passionate about helping more people to enjoy cycling. However, they are heavily reliant on voluntary donations for funding and always look for ways to increase membership numbers.

The Charity was successful in their application for a Google Adwords Grant, to help them gain visibility in their competitive sector. However, they recognised they did not have the expertise internally to make effective use of the grant and assert attention to members.

Their Challenge

The aim was that the promotion would acquire new members to provide a solid stream of revenue and therefore aid the charity's operations.

Adwords Awareness

Due to inexperience in this sector, Cycling UK needed management of their adwords campaign to ensure high visibility within their target market.

Advertising Campaigns

It was essential for a paid advertising strategy to be created and nurtured to achieve a strong impression on the current market.

Directing Website Traffic

Without high click through rates the charity would not achieve an increase in subscriptions, which is their main source of funding for future campaigns to raise awareness.

Our Solution

The Just Brand created a strategy to ensure success for Cycling UK and boost membership numbers for continued growth.

The Just Brand’s expert paid advertising team designed a paid advertising campaign using their innovative keyword strategy. The bespoke strategy consisted of detailed competitor and keyword analysis which helps to formulate content.

The market in which Cycling UK operate is highly competitive. There are limitations on how many people can be visible and are able to  stay top in the search engine results. A cleverly constructed Adwords campaign can significantly improve results for businesses and ensure great visibility.

The outcome

The aim was that the promotion would acquire new members to provide a solid stream of revenue and therefore aid the charity's operations.
